SONY STORE MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM

 Introduction

  1. These Sony Store Membership Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all members of Sony Store (“Sony Store Membership” or “Sony Store Member”), which is maintained by Sony Thai Co., Ltd. (“Sony,” “we,” or “us”).
  2. Please carefully read the Terms before joining the Sony Store Membership. By creating an account, signing up, or otherwise being a Sony Store member, you agree to and accept the Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not sign up for an account.
  3. By accessing and browsing this website, you are additionally subject to the terms and conditions of use, which are hereby incorporated by this reference into these Terms.
  4. We may, at its sole discretion, with or without notice to you change, alter, modify, add, or remove portions of the Terms at any time by updating the contents of this page.

 

  1. Eligibility
  2. Sony Store Membership is strictly for individual persons residing in Thailand. By signing up, you represent that you are at least 20 years of age and reside in Thailand.
  3. To qualify as a Sony Store Member, you must purchase at least THB 5,000 in one month from any Sony Store in Thailand including Sony Store Online Thailand.
  4. Only one membership is allowed per person.

 

  1. Membership
  2. Becoming a Sony Store Member may require your registration. You must provide the information that is correct, current and complete.  
  3. You must retain the physical receipts of your purchases for accumulation of 5,000 baht in a month for verification for at least one month.
  4. Your username and password are for your personal use only and must be kept confidential. If you sign up for a Sony Store Member using your social network, your email address tied to the social network will be your username and your password will be randomly assigned by us. You will be able to set your own password later by selecting “forget password.”
  5. You must promptly inform us of any breaches of security, including loss, theft, or unauthorised disclosure or use of your username or password. Until we receive notice of a breach of security, you will remain responsible for any and all activities and transactions performed through your username. Any transaction or use of any benefits of Sony Store Membership under your username which is authenticated by your password is deemed to be on your behalf and binding on you. We shall not be held liable for loss or damage or accept any liability for the loss of loyalty points, and we will not return lost loyalty points to you as a result of a breach of security.
  6. You do not acquire rights to your username or password selected by you or assigned to you. We have the right to change, disable, or terminate your username or password for any reasons including any violation of any provision of these Terms.
  7. You agree to indemnify and hold Sony, its parents, subsidiaries, and their officers and employees, harmless from any claims and expenses, including reasonable legal expenses, arising out of or in connection with your violation of these Terms, including any abusive or unlawful behaviour on the part of you or anyone using your username or password or abusive or unlawful redemption of loyalty points, and/or the infringement of any intellectual property or other right of any person in connection with your use of any portion of the Sony Store Membership program or your username.

 

  1. Earning of Loyalty Points
  2. Sony Store loyalty points are earned by purchasing any products at any Sony Stores in Thailand and / or Sony Store (Online) Thailand. Other sales channels are excluded. You may check the list of our physical Sony Stores at https://www.sony.co.th/microsite/sonystore/map/en/
    1. For purchase at a physical Sony Store, you must show your membership card or quote your username to our shopfront staff before payment.
    2. For purchase at Sony Store (Online) Thailand, your must log in to your account before making an order.
  3. Loyalty points will be credited to your account on the next working day after successful payment and confirmation of delivery date.
  4. Some products may be excluded from the loyalty points program. Loyalty points program may be changed without prior notice. Please check with our staff before making purchase.
  5. Loyalty points earned will depend on the net price of the purchased product. Coupons or product discounts based on various promotions will be deducted before calculation (calculated from the final price of the product):
    1. Camera and lens: new product launched not more than two months, 3% of the net price, other products 5% of the net price
    2. TV: 3% of the net price
    3. Audio: 3% of the net price
    4. PlayStation: 100 points for consoles. No points for accessories
  6. Loyalty points will be valid for two years from the date on which you last purchased the product from Sony Store or Sony Store Online. For example, if you purchase a product on 1 April 2022, your points will expire on 1 April 2024 (the last day that you can use your points is 31 March 2024). To avoid the expiration of the points, you must make a purchase on or before 31 March 2024, then your loyalty points earned in April 2022 will be extended until March 2026.
  7. The original receipt of the purchase must be kept for future verification until the end of the warranty. If you are unable to provide proof of purchase, we have the right to cancel the loyalty points earned and to recover the equivalent value of any promotional products which have already been redeemed.
  8. You can check your current balance points in Sony Store Online website or via Sony Thai Call Center: 02-715-6100 on Monday - Saturday (09.00 - 17.30 hours).

 

  1. Redeeming of Loyalty Points
  2. Loyalty points can be used as a discount on the next purchase or to redeem other gifts that have been specified.
  3. Every 1 point is equivalent to 1 baht. There is no limit to the number of points that can be used to redeem as a discount at the next purchase, unless stated otherwise.
  4. Sony Store loyalty points and benefits can be used with other promotional offers, unless stated otherwise.
  5. When you wish to use your loyalty points, you must quote your username, email address or present your membership card to our shopfront staff before or upon making purchase.
  6. Once loyalty points are redeemed, you will not be able cancel or change except upon cancellation of invoice. In such cases, points that have been redeemed to offset the purchase will be returned to the member's account after completing the cancellation process.

  2. Our Sony Store Online and website may be integrated with, or may otherwise interact with, third-party applications or websites. We do not make representations about any other applications or websites. We have no control over any such third-party sites or applications and accept no responsibility for such sites or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them. You may also be subject to any terms and conditions of such third-party websites or applications.

  3. If you register or log in to the Sony Store Membership using your social network account, we may receive personal information from your social network such as your social network ID and name. The information we receive may depend on your social network account privacy settings and we only receive additional personal information from your profile if you give us permission to access it.

 

  1. Miscellaneous
  2. Loyalty point program is exclusive for Sony Store Members. Accumulated points and various benefits under this program cannot be transferred to another person. If you have multiple accounts, we are not able to merge your accounts even if you can prove that those accounts belong to you. You will not be able to transfer the loyalty points from one account to another accounts.
  3. If there is any abuse, violation or improper use of the Sony Store Membership, we have final and absolute discretion including but not limited to termination of membership status. All loyalty points may be forfeited without prior notice. All decisions are final.
  4. In the event of disputes regarding the Terms or the Sony Store Membership program, Sony shall have the right to make the final decision.
